Several items taken in area larcenies were found Friday after Southold Town Police located them in a truck that had been reported stolen, police said.
The black 2002 Ford Explorer was found on Main Street in Riverhead, two days after a Southold woman said it was missing, police said.
The investigation is ongoing and no charges have been filed yet, according to police.
Police believe the suspect also stole a 32-inch flat screen television, a DVD player and gold hoop earrings in another burglary earlier that day in Southold, according to a separate police report.
