A financial consultant gave a budgetary update at tonight’s Greenport Village Board meeting.
Bill Freitag of Albany-based Bollam Sheedy Torani & Co. gave a presentation to the Village Board during its regular meeting at the Third Street firehouse.
Mr. Freitag reported this past spring that the village is steadily improving its financial position and its general fund had turned a profit of $290,000.
In addition to Mr. Freitag’s presentation, the Village Board scheduled public hearings to discuss a new subdivision law and its streets and sidewalks code.
