A Go-Green Sanitation driver was taken to a hospital Monday after a one-vehicle crash on Peconic Bay Boulevard in Aquebogue, Riverhead Town police said.
Larry Burch, 47, of Riverhead, was headed east on Peconic Bay Boulevard about 12: 20 p.m. when he fell asleep and the vehicle strayed across the median, struck a small tree and came to a stop in a field between Seacove Lane and Lockitt Drive, police said.
Mr. Burch was taken to Peconic Bay Medical Center for complaining of dizziness, officials said.
