Luis Cintron, a senior, was presented with the 2013 Boden Memorial Football Award recently by former Bishop McGann-Mercy football coach Jeff Doroski.
The award is based on a number of attributes, recognizing the recipient for being a good player, having good morals, good character, being a student in good academic standing and an athlete that exemplifies the school spirit. Cintron was a two-way player for Mercy as an outside linebacker on defense and fullback on offense.
Along with the trophy, a $1,000 scholarship was also presented to Cintron in memory of Robert Boden, who died last October.
