A Jamesport man was arrested on a drunken-driving charge in Cutchogue Saturday night, Southold Town police said.
Michael Leonard, 26, was arrested after police received an 11 p.m. call that his vehicle had jumped a curb and struck a snowplow marker in the Peconic area while heading west on Route 48, a police report stated.
Officers located Mr. Leonard shortly after near Alvah’s Lane, where he was stopped and found to be intoxicated, police said.
He was transported to Southold police headquarters.
