State Senator Lee Zeldin, a Republican candidate for the First District Congress seat, is opening a campaign office in Riverhead.Mr. Zeldin, , 34, of Shirley, is also opening campaign offices in Smithtown and Centereach.
“We want our campaign to be as accessible as possible for voters and to make it easy for people to volunteer any amount of time they may have,” he said in a statement Thursday morning. “If we want to change Washington, we have to change the people we send there. It is my hope that residents will take advantage of our convenient locations and send a strong message with their support that Long Island is ready for that change.”
