Monday morning’s commute could be a messy one.

The National Weather Service is predicting up to two inches of snow will fall on the North Fork overnight Sunday.

There is a small chance it will snow this evening, according to NWS. From 10 p.m. through 3 a.m. there is a 20 percent chance of precipitation, according to NWS. The worst of the storm will occur after 7 p.m. Sunday night.

NWS expects 1 to 2 inches of accumulation on the ground by Monday morning.

There is a small chance that snowfall will continue through noon Monday, followed by a dry day Tuesday.

More than 30 inches of snow has already fallen on the North Fork this year.
